Two-minute tutorial: the habit worth keeping
Save the prompts that actually work into one place, so you're never starting from a blank box twice
By now you've probably tried a few of these two-minute tutorials, and you likely noticed the same thing happen more than once: a prompt worked, you got a good result back, and then a week or two later you were typing something similar from scratch because you couldn't remember exactly how you'd phrased it the first time. This last habit fixes that, and out of everything covered so far, it's the one worth keeping the longest. It's also the one that pays off the most quietly — nothing about it feels like progress in the moment, it's just a ten-second copy-paste, but a few months on it's the difference between reaching for a note and starting over every single time the same kind of message comes up.
Do this now
- Whenever a prompt works well and gives you a result you're happy with, copy it into one plain document or note before you close the chat box. It takes about ten seconds, and it's the difference between a one-off win and something you can actually reuse next time.
- Give it a short, plain name so you can find it again later — "late-payment reminder," "Monday plan," and so on. A clear name matters far more than any folder structure or tagging system; you just need to recognise it at a glance.
- Next time the same kind of job comes up, open that note and reuse the prompt instead of starting from nothing. Swap in the new details for the specific situation and, in our runs, you're often done in well under a minute.
- Add to the list slowly, one good prompt at a time, rather than trying to build the whole thing in one sitting. It grows naturally out of the ordinary weeks you're already living and working through.
Try this
Save this prompt as 'client update' in my notes: [PASTE THE PROMPT THAT WORKED].
What you'll get back
In a few weeks, without much deliberate effort on your part, you'll have a small personal library of prompts that already work for the way you actually run things — no longer reinventing the wording every time the same familiar situation comes up. That library ends up sorted by the situations you actually run into — the awkward client email, the Monday plan, the quote you send most often — rather than by anything abstract, so finding the right one later usually takes well under a minute, not a mental reconstruction of how you phrased it last time.
Sundayclear's 30 helpers are that library already built for you: a prompt, a template, and a worked example for each of the tasks a one-person service business runs into again and again, from quotes and invoices to check-ins and weekly reviews. You've now got the habit either way — building the list yourself, one prompt at a time, is the harder path, and this is simply the faster one to the same place.
The shortcut: use the ready-made helper
